Included in this listing are invitations, RSVP’s, printed belly bands, envelopes for both invitations and RSVPs, and the pocket enclosure. Reception, Directions, Accommodation, Info cards (or whatever else your heart desires) are not included in this listing and can be found here.
Paper and Quality:
At Northerly Design we pride ourselves on our printing quality and attention to detail. We use only the finest card stock our in-house digital press can handle, this allows our brides and grooms to get only the best quality wedding stationery we can offer. From sharp, bold text to subtle watercolor tones, we make sure you’ll get the wedding items of your dreams! We have six types of paper available to choose from:
White or Ivory 110lb matte card stock
White or Ivory 105lb shimmer card stock (+$0.25 more each)
White or Ivory 130lb matte card stock (+$0.50 more each).
All of our invitations are custom orders and made by hand, so production times vary depending on the and materials you have personally chosen. After the proof has been approved by you, we will send you a personalized sample of the invitation you have chosen. After the final approval of the sample, the typical production time for invitation packages is 2-6 weeks due to supply chain issues, depending on what details are included in your package. We will let you know the exact production time when you place your order.

Sometimes just seeing a proof isn’t enough. Samples are the best way to guarantee satisfaction before your final choices are set in stone. Samples will provide you an opportunity to see what your final invitation and colors will look like before everything is final. One thing we strive for is perfection and if you aren’t happy, neither are we. Samples are not sent out until the final proof is approved and deposit has been received. Please note: We cannot offer samples of letterpress invitations, foil invitations, or laser-cut invitations. We can only offer digitital proofs or digitally printed proofs. Oh no! You’ve been so busy planning for your new life the time got away from you. This is where rush orders come in handy. Expedited services are available on a case-by-case basis and will be accommodated as our production schedule allows. There will be additional fees added to all rush orders (15% minimum) depending on the timeframe required and the size of the order.
We require a minimum order of 50 printed laser-cut invitations.
If you are ordering a custom design, four hours of design time are included in your wedding package! 2 complimentary revisions to your design are also included in the price (at no additional hourly fee). Additional revisions will be $50 per hour. Usually, only an hour is needed and two revisions are needed, but there have been occasions where minds get changed or the colors just aren’t exactly right, so additional time is needed. We are here for you and completely understand!
We are happy to meet in person, converse via email, or chat on the phone to discuss your ideas and budget and create the perfect product for you.
Invitation Printing Only:
We are here to make sure your invitation is perfect for you. If you have something designed already that is great, too. Bonus: if something like a color or font needs to be tweaked that’s included at no additional cost.*

Spelling/Grammar/Other Pertinent Info:
As much as we wish we could spot every address error or name-spelling mistake, we aren’t that magical. The accuracy of your guest list lies with you. Please make sure that your guest list is complete, with everything spelled correctly and all titles gender-correct (Mr. Mrs. Ms.) before submitting it to us. We will provide you with an excel template to put your list into. After you submit that file, it cannot be changed.
We understand that life happens and things don’t always go the way we hope they will. That being said, all cancellations must be made within 1 business day to get a full refund. Any orders canceled after 1 business day will cause your deposit (half the invitation cost) to be forfeited. We will, of course, work with you as best we can to help save you some money, but we can’t guarantee anything after production has begun.
